Since I've had them for awhile... Best money spent next to the PC III. Went on a 750 mile 2 day short mancation. No more wrist pain for this cat! :yahoo:

Looks like all I am reading most folks are using this to get the bars pulled back more. For me that would just make the hand to grip angle even worse. Anyone gone the other way (forward) to help square the grips up a bit better? How's that working out and do they go forward enough to gain a natural position?

I just ordered mine and I plan on taping a threaded hole for the ramball :yahoo:
Probably you can screw a ramball

In this hole easy or with some patent..

Or an easy installation with a like this ramball adapter with a longer screw..

Since there's not so much of the sprechen sie Deutsch for me do you know which of the four positions represented is the stock position?

Hey Nervous, the website is deceiving. There is no four positions like it shows. You lock down the hardware where you want the bars to be; sweep angle-wise. I bought them for the angle adjustment not for the bars to be brought back closer.

I have the bars rotated forward a few deg as you can see by the lines under the bars, I really like the neutral feel of this position. my hands and wrist is inline with my forearms and I feel I have better control of the bike.

I am going to see if i can add bar riser to the MV plate.

I will post up when I do it in Oct.

I just put the "GERMAN" riser on my FJR and I really like the new feel. (it does drive differently) Very nicely made and they provide the cable extender mod pieces with the shipment. I ordered on Saturday and had it on Wednesday. Drove 100 miles today. I'm still playing with getting the perfect position.

Hey all, after research and getting the feed back on the Forum, I took the plunge and ordered the MV Riser Plate. Ordered Sat pm -it was on my work bench Thurs afternoon. I installed it on Friday and Yaaah Baby! This is a fine piece of German engineering, very nice! A little patience and a few tools and your good to go. The directions are pretty good, they sent me English as well as German. The only thing different I had to do is clip 2 zip ties on the left side to release cable lines, plenty of slack to let you bring the bars forward after you do that. Hey, this is a really nice Farkle- a tad pricey, but well worth it, I doubt anyone would be disappointed with this one.
