NAFO 2012 Cross Country

:lol:Hey Intech, I'm in Denver right now and headed to NAFO as part of my trip to AK. I was planning on going to Cody and riding through Beartooth Pass and the Going to the Sun hwy, or some variation of that. Let me know if you're interested in riding together possibly.

We are going to be staying in Yellowstone on the 19th and heading north out of there on the 20th. I haven't checked yet, but Logan Pass was supposed to be opened yesterday. We wanted to do the GTS road also. We will be heading out of Yellostone via the north gate (Roosevelt) probably close to mid-day Wednesday. If you are going to be in the area we can hook up. I was planning another overnight between there and Castlegar. I'll PM you my phone number.

Stopped for the night in Farmington, NM. Another over 500 day riding. MAJOR props to AJ, Carrie and the girls. We stopped for lunch in Albuquerque and hooked up with AJ and family. AJ let me have my national parks pass mailed to his house for me to pick up. He rode out to lunch with us and Carrie and the girls joined us. Great time. I feel like I was a zombie, though. Kind of road weary. AJ - I owe you big time!

Four Corners and then the Grand Canyon tomorrow then north into Utah. Looks like Bryce first. I can't wait to see the staircase.

Ya despite being a major league doofus. AJ is alright. Though I suspect its the misses that keeps him in line.

Awfull damn needy aren't you? We just stopped for the night in Page, AZ. We checked in and then rode down to Glen Canyon dam. Pretty cool, but the Grand Canyon was AWESOME!!! If you haven't seen it you must go! The ride out of there north on 89 was really cool too! Going to get an earlier start tomorrow. Treated myself to a sleep in being father's day and all. Today's Grand Canyon visit was dedicatd to my father. He always wanted to go but never made it. I think every American should see it. And by the way it was F__king HOT! 104 for a while there. I had the 90mph AC on! Off to eat then bed....
