Nakusp, again....
Can they handle a couple hundred-plus bikes, vendor tents, and large sit-down banquets?
They loved us, especially the food bank. I don't see it as being a stretch.

..............roads/rides are amazing.

Or, we could pay more for hotels and do either Banff, Jasper or Lake Louise for those that might prefer a trendy spot.

He'll take anything from Jill...I mean...I'm sure he has no quibble with Jill...I mean...who can quarrel with Jill? :D

Yes, I'm sure I can tease Richard unmercifully, in the sure knowledge that he will repay in kind, with great imagination and lots of four-letter words. :clapping:

And....... don't tell everyone, but behind his macho tough guy act, he's actually a pretty decent guy but he doesn't care for that kind of information to be widely circulated.

Good thing nobody reads this crap........
I'm trying to figure out what any of this thread resurrection the past couple days has to do with the OP?

As far as I know the good folks largely at EOM will be planning for NAFO 2010 maybe sometime this Fall...and then where NAFO 2012 might be has yet to be determined.

Wow! Richard's place has the most votes. So it's settled?
Sure, go with that. Bluestreek is banned though. Posting to a thread 5 months after the previous post deserves that.

;)

Not a thing, some people just don't check dates before they post.

Well, if the generous people who organize NAFO decide to have it in Alaska, or where ever, I'd plan on being there. Umm, except maybe Kansas :p or Nebraska. The point of a North American meet is for people from all over the continent to attend so most are going to have to travel to get there. I mean, that's the point, to go some place I have never ridden before.
Salina KS is a nice place and it's right near the exact middle of the country....

just sayin'... :)

Just stiring things up a bit it was a little quiet over here. I learn from the best.

To the benevolent dictators,

It has been interesting reading everyones comments on this topic ( I am still waiting to learn what Jill's thoughts are). For me it is quite simply an excuse to ride somewhere and meet people who share my passion for the FJR's abilty to give an awesome ride.

So even if I can't go when it is scheduled or if it is too far away (time constraints) I am willing to assist you, the "benevolent dictator(s)", in putting togehter the event.

I have experiencce herding cats and know they will go where they want, when want. Therefore my expectations are merely to help those who want to be helped.

You know how to find me ... I am usually near the vodka cat nip.

Rick
