I have three cats, Artis, Lovepie and Caveman. Since Stella and I have been together, I, being a sensitive guy, have noticed her desperate need for a companion animal she can call her own. She dreams of a Westie.

Today I closed the deal on this little fella. He'll be flying in to El Paso International Airport Saturday.

(The puppy's homepage is here. He's on the right side... prisoner 4386.)

I need your help naming the little guy. Something bike-related, perhaps? But doesn't have to be. Just looking for out-of-the-ordinary monikers... kind of like that special farkle that makes it your bike.

No offence man, but what does that work out to if you were paying by the pound? Thats one pricy puppy!

Could call him Money-Pit, Retirement-Fund, or Nest-Egg. Ok, those were just a joke.

Being that he's male, you could call him Kickstand. Other bike related names: Shifter, Clutch, OilRag or Wheel Chalk

Other names to ponder: Lord Close-floor (should be fairly obvious), Fatty McButterpants (friend actually named their cat this), Field Goal (looks to be the size of a football/soccer ball), Little ******* (had a friend that named his dog that many years ago, never fails to get a laugh)

Thats about all I can think of right now. Again, no offence, everyone has their indulgences.

Welcome, Congratulations, You've become a terrierist, don't worry about naming the little fellow, he'll name himself, for the first 6 months our airedale answered to No, or Stop!!!!!!

Slipper. As in clutch, not house-shoes.

Or uhhhh....."Beemer, The Flaming Final Drive".

Or, Ticker.

Surge.

how about Hitler ?

we have a 16 year old male Westie. VERY independant. Thinks he is a rottwieler.

In his younger days he killed and ate, mice, rats, birds, snakes, now he eats and sleeps.

In line with what El Toro said..............

'Farkle' would be a cool name.

From way back when, in my youth 'in the Navy', (The U.S., NOT the Villiage People you dorks!) I knew a guy who named his new puppy NATOPS. Some current or ex-naval aviator types should get a kick out of that. I thought it was a cool name.

Name it "harley"......and **** both y'all. My moniker is a testament to that which is pure and can throw the first stone.

eat a dik.

You can't take it with you.

Stella just came home. So far, she likes Farkle. I kind of like Anus. And ********.

Hey, what about Feejer?

Dunno.

Just got back from a bar. Slugged down a shot of bourbon and a beer while looking at the bottle labels for inspiration, I was I was. But, nothing. (BUT... this was how I came up with Sark's name some 15 years ago. I was sitting at a bar with my wife, drinking Scotch, eyeing the labels on the bottles, and there was CUTTY SARK... the ship... Cutty?... No... SARK! That's it! (Finest dog I've ever known.)

Please, keep trying. Stella and I will know when you hit the jackpot.

Congrats. Wife has 2 Westies and they are great pets. Later get your money back by using him for stud service. How about:

Yama

Twisty

Barbarian

Skyway
