I don't think there any complaints on your hints! They were fine. I'm disappointed I didn't have time to check the google maps view to verify the exact location. I remembered the area but not the exact spot and just went with clues.

For the next place let's try this one:

For the win you need either the well-known scenic road this is on or the famous person whose ashes were buried here.

Pretty sure that is the Meriwether Lewis memorial along the Natchez Trace Parkway.
Correct! Natchez Trace is a peaceful easy-going route with a lot of history. It wasn't quite our cup of tea, as we got tired of the scenery and the lack of curves after a while. But many people love this route.

Griff you are up if you want to post a pic!

Ok, this one is pretty easy.  You should be able to say exactly where it is.

I know it but haven't been there...

I'm sure there are lots who have seen it in person.  (Don't think you need more hints.)

Found it from Google only. It was not familiar to me. That is in one of the 9 states I haven't been to on the bike and one of the 5 I have never sat foot in. So if nobody gets it in a couple days, I think Ross should go for it. It's probably time for a northeast place anyway.

Top of the Enchanted Highway - North Dakota, 85 miles due west of Bismarck.  33 mile stretch of highway running south from just above I-94 with some interesting features.

Fascinating stuff and I had no idea this stretch of road existed although I saw a photo of that particular sculpture before.  I would definitely detour a bit out of my way to see it if riding in the vicinity.

Perce Rock!

I have actually been there at low tide.  Had to walk out to the rock to take a photo.  All thanks to the 2007 Iron Butt Rally.  It was a beautiful day to be riding along the coast.  Fond memories.

Won't even make you fix the spelling Percé. (accent on the e)

A short detour while spending a couple of days riding in the Gaspé region.  Beautiful area!  Nice parks as well - Forillon National Park and Gaspesie National Park.  Beautiful coastal scenes and villages.

Its all yours, Skooter.

How do you even type the funny little 'e with an eyebrow'?

I don't have time to dig through my photos currently so go right ahead.

Press and hold alt key and type 0233 for é

Since that went so quickly,  I will throw out another but a USA location.

Another one that should be fairly easy.

That doesn't work for me.  Must only work on Canadian keyboards.
I know it works on any Windows computer - Canadian or otherwise.  Never tried it on a Mac but there would have to be some equivalent for this and other special characters (i.e. µ ½ ç ¢ ® © æ ° ä ß ¥ ĉ etc.).   I know a bunch of them but go to the Windows Character Map for ones I don't use often.

Edit: Back on topic.  The only thing I will say in terms of clues is that this is somewhere in the northeast quarter of the country.
