I know several folks in that area that are just waiting for the order to evacuate... it's nasty... this is a photo from Brad's FB page...

Damn nasty things! We've had more than a few bad ones here this summer, and currently the air is smokey. Good luck to Brad and his loved ones. Hopefully there's some rain soon to help get things under control.

Thoughts prayers and juju for their safety and the home and business

Awesome peeps.

Sending good juju your way. Hope that's your RV, having a place to stay in case of emergency makes is so much easier.

So, that's where the haze in Folsom is coming from. Hope the Uberkul's are safe!

I hear residents near Valley Springs are also being evacuated.

We are getting high elevation smoke after 5 pm yesterday and today up here. News folks said it's really pumping out the smoke as it chows the acres

Met them this summer waiting for the ferry to Edmonds, what nice folks. Hope they both are safe!
Brad and Christy are great folks for sure and as you can see in the pic from his FB page they are mobile. He is smart enough to know when to leave.

We evacuated home and business today. Heading back tomorrow to check both and will update with info. Both were under mandatory evacuation this PM.

You guys are the best :)!

I was worried about you two tonight, watching the coverage. Folks, you wouldn't believe the pall of smoke hanging over the foothills to the east and south of us--probably the worst I've seen yet. They were saying over 60,000 acres involved as of the 6 p.m. news cycle. Very best luck to you and your family, Brad and Christy.

You are just getting a taste of what we had last year with the King fire. Sounded on the news last night like it was moving south of Brad's home-by Monday the weather will cool way down and higher humidity which should help a lot. Fingers crossed.

So far thermal maps show home and business (Wilseyville and West Point) ok. If the damn looters stay away from peoples **** it would be a lot better. Highway patrol would not let anybody in the area this morning even those trying to rescue livestock and pets. Will keep you posted.

Amazing how low-lives rise to the top in some situations. Looters were a problem for awhile after Sandy went through here. Certain blocks with the right people solved the problem rather quickly.

Best of luck with everything.
