The millwork company I work for is always looking for good people to draw and engineer. We don't do any 3D currently. If you are still looking shoot me a PM, and I will get you in touch with the head of that department.

F*ck, slap, I just hired a guy (yesterday as a matter O fact).

While not a 2D/3D position, something that I'm sure you could have easily handled.

Now if he comes in stoned on his first day, or gropes any of the ugly chicks, I'll have a reason to punt him.

SNP - you have computer skills too, eh? You know web servers, some dbase stuff, have good organizational skills, can make a plan and stick to it? Cal Poly State University will soon be posting a job for a supervisor of the 'student pool'. The SP guyz and gals are the ones who perform the front line installs, fix broken stuff, etc. If intereseted, pm me I'll shoot a url your way. Did I mention San Luis Obispo, CA?

Ya know, slap....I knew before I left high school that being in a rock band would never pay the bills.....might get ya laid....but, that's about it. Happy hunting.

I see in 3D. . . . I least I think I do.

Good Luck though, I have been looking around for about a year now and still havent found anything worth making the move. I know it's tough out there. Have you tried looking at www.monster.com or www.usajobs.com?

SNP:

We have an Engineering Technician opening in Omaha, NE that we have yet to fill although we are starting to interview this week. The location is not as M/C friendly as where you currently live. The job could use someone with 3D/Autodesk Inventor skills. We're just moving to 3D from 2D AutoCAD. PM me if you wish more information.

Dave
