Sounds like too much effort to avoid the clunk sound. Could be clunkphobia....consult your local psychiatrist for that. Now, for the ticking..... :lol:
Or you could just start it in first with the clutch in, then shift to neutral, so the clutch plates are already apart, and you don't have to use the starter 2x every morning.I'm tellin' you guys.....just flick the kill switch off then back on as you are disengaging the clutch, push down on the shift lever as you touch the starter button and it will snick into gear instantly, quietly and you ride immediately away. Starting it in gear with the clutch disengaged eliminates all the problems with no monkey motion.
