New '07 FJR will be mine today!

Well my '05 Feejer is gone as well as my Harley!

But there are 2 Yam dealers within 15 miles of my house. One has just got an '07 in the crate sold but the buyer backed out. The other dealer will take a deposit for a late Feb early Mar delivery. If the first dealer can beat the waiter price she will be mine today!!!!!

And yes I look good in Black Cherry! :clapping:

I hope it's warm enough for you to ride it, at least home, today. Our overnight low of 23 has me waiting for possible patches of black ice to thaw, probably until noon. Sure glad I'm not a citrus grower these days!

Kirk, chek the "Ride Planning" thread...Napa ride on Feb. 20th. Come and meet some other NorCal riders.

T.C., bloody cold outside, huh? A little contrast from your normal 100+ Fresno Summer temps. At the moment its 31 outside in Sac. Yesterday I noticed 4 different intersections and off ramps where someone had spilled water that had frozen on the pavement. Motorcycle traps? Its a good thing its dry outside, or it would be white.

Sold! I took the one where the buyer backed out. I will pick up my new ride Tuesday or Wednesday of next week!!!!!! or which ever day its not raining. Weather will be cold, but I'll survive!

She's here and sitting quietly in my garage! This is one sweet looking bike! Its cold here today otherwise I would be riding instead of typing to you guys! This has got to be the finest all around bike on the planet......I know I'm preaching to the chior!! :glare:

I went into my dealer today to see if my FJR had been put together yet and it was not. Just as well anyway as I can't take delivery until the the first week in Feb as I have to leave for Atlanta in the morning for the next 3 frikin weeks. Can you tell I love Atlanta, especially working right next to the airport, lovely area. So I'm in there and they have an AE that was a demo on sale for, get this, $15,699. The salesman I've been working with is really cool and I ask him if he thinks he'll actually get that price for it and he just laughed. Anyway there is this new WR450F right next to the AE and we get to talking and I ended up buying that too.

****, kinda expensive afternoon.

So on the 9th I'll have both bikes delivered, sounds like a good day already, huh?

Anybody need a 2002' WR400F, mildly thrashed?

(it was only desert raced on the weekends, really)

I'll post up some pics this Friday. It's suppose to be a nice sunny day here in San Fran and I'll ride her up to Skyline somewhere for a photo op. Then it's back home to start attaching the farkles that should start arriving tomorrow.
