Bought a new bike a month or so ago. I was out riding around the local creekbed when I saw a sweet jump just ahead.

Suffice it to say, a minor concussion and a broken collarbone is going to keep me off the Feeg for a few weeks.

Funny thing is, I felt like I was 12 again.

Here's a pic of the offending cycle.

See ya'll on the road soon.

Mark

It could have been worse...you could have ruptured a testicle landing on the bike frame like a friend's brother did when he was young.

Damnit Mark! Sorry to hear this. Look at the bright side, my broken clavicle now makes me a weatherman, I can tell you when it's going to rain before the weather-guessers on TV!

The guy can herd his FJR around corners at incredible speed and lean angle..

...and one little itsy-bitsy jumpy-poo does him in?

Get well quick - the best riding is now!

Crap, Mark. Glad we got in a good day of riding last week. Heal quick.

(personally, always figured I quit maturing at about 15)

Yeah....well you FELT like you were 12 yrs. old until you landed.

Broken clavicle...not fun but better than broken ribs in many ways. Enjoy the healing and physical terror-py.

Uhm....only those of us with hindsight appreciate what you're going through. Heal quickly.

Haha...You big dork!

I've crashed my mountain bike more times than I want to count. If you ever meet my wife, ask her about the time she had to use tweezers and pliers to pull about 250 cactus spines out of my back, butt and legs. She thinks its hilarious.
