...so what are you bringing to Salida??

Well...the Wing of course! Have to try it out. Am bringing my riding buddy and his wife along too...with his new Wing!
Don't worry, we'll stay in the background and out of sight (at least we're not bringing Harleys!)
Hehe, I suppose we can allow it. If you have your riding buddy register on sw-fog.com, I'll then have the appropriate info to make up name tags for them too. And if you'll be partaking in group meals, I need pre-payment (for headcount) on those too

Congrats!

Nice looking ride; I know the misses will enjoy that Cadillac seat opposed to the Feej.

That Blue is perfect for Texas weather...cool water.

I do! I do!

I bought the Wingabago in June of '02, a few months before I turned 50.

I've loved it for 10 years, done SS1k rides on it with ease.

But since Lucille moved in in January, Rose has spent a lot of time on the battery tender. The FJR is WAY more fun 1- up.

Enjoy!

Well, after a run last year of the PNW where we rented a 2008 Hondapotamus, we ended up buying one. A really nice ride, we went 193 miles on ot once and didn't even notice. Had to get gas. I got this one for a steal as it was last years model and I got it for way less than cost. No GPS or ABS. I've got my 2730's and I know how to ride so I don't think I'll miss either as a factory add on.
Still keeping the FJR as I love it and it's totally farkled out for LDR riding.

So how many of you out there have one of these as a second bike? I know Joe has one (I rode it into a U-Haul last year at SW-FOG!!) and I think a couple of others do too. Come on, fess up!
Got one in 06 for the cushy rear seat for the wife, worked great for a few years, Yellowstone, Black Hills etc., then she became a grandmother, now I am riding it some cause my right hip is aching a bit and I have more move-around room. Much prefer my fjr but it locks me in one position and after a couple of hours it hurts to get off and walk. Incidentally, check out your cruise control, it does set higher than 80.
