Been Jonesin' for a long time on something Italian, since Sophia & Gina are no longer a possibility. Found a Guzzi Breva 1100, an '07 model with 90 miles on the clock at a local dealer with a 2 year warranty. As the 10cc song goes, I fell in love and drove it away. Didn't think I'd every say this, but a push-rod air-cooled V-Twin is a real kick in the ass to ride, as long as it's not a Harley. It's got a bit over half the HP as my FJR, but feels like a 350 the way it handles. I've got absolutely no complaints with my not-quite-2 year old Feej, but she is a big girl. Almost too smooth, quiet, and serene. The Guzzi is more like a hot-rod Corvette - it vibrates, makes noise, and gives me a smile that won't go away. The Feej is the bike for long trips, camping, and 2-up riding with the wife, but the Goose is the local twisties bike.

Another sexy Italian.

You're right. the FJR is smooth, comfortable, cross country ballistic.

Then there is just because
