Finally I have an FJR. I found my 2008 A mode while short listing a few others. A one owner with only 24,000 km/s (15k miles) and like new condition, barely a blemish.
Other than some new tires & some relatively minor maintenance I will be riding soon - weather permitting.
I’m a seasoned rider with over 30 years riding experience and have owned several other bikes ranging from 400cc to 1200cc and pretty much every genre of machine.
I’ve since settled for now and very anxious to ride and meet some other enthusiasts on this fantastic forum.

Thx SacramentoMike! I remember years ago coming to SoCal for a wedding and then renting a car to go buy some FJ1200 parts and then flew them home to Canada. When we were there we rented a BMW K1300S and went for a tour on the PC1. Good times!

I’ll be leaving Winnipeg on Sunday, June 19th and will be in Nakusp on Wednesday, June 22nd. The rally starts on Thursday, June 23rd. A friend from south of Montreal will be blowing across the prairies to pick up his wife at the Calgary Airport with some sight seeing on their way to Nakusp.

Hi Tom, welcome to the FJ forum site you'll find lots of help and interesting posts on tech fixes and meetings across North America. I'm a little south of you at the other end of Lake Ontario in Vineland, and like you I found a nice FJ 2007AE with low kl. on it. Put a good few Kl. on it but have enjoyed the rides, mostly up and down the east side of the US. give me a shout if you head down my way once the weather turn to warmer spring like temps. Enjoy your FJR rides.
