Greetings,

Long.......time lurker of this forum. I just bought a pristine 2008 FJR and am in the process of selling my 1993 ST1100 with a tad over 148K on the clock. I purchased the FJR for many of the same reasons I purchased the ST. Reliability, ease of maintenance, and a great forum.

I live in the Wichita, KS area and have a lift and a No-Mar tire changer so if you mount your own tires drop me a PM, I'd be glad to help. I look forward to making some FJR events.

Sounds like you made a nice trade up from the ST to the '08. Great bike and it'll run as long as your ST with regular maintenance.

Generous offer with the NoMar...you'll be a popular fella in no time! ;)

Welcome!

Congrats on the FJR and welcome to the nuthouse. As good as the venerable ST1100 is, I think you will find the FJR a significant upgrade.

Awesome. Glad to have another nice bike in the area. You wouldn't happen to have a fancy Guvi platform on the back would you? I ran into another 2nd Gen last week leaving work but he was heading the wrong way to be from Mulvane. As far as I know there are about 4-5 FJR's in the area. Like hammer said, drop us a line and we can ooh and ahh the fancy new fangled bike of yours. Glad to have you here.

Welcome to the forum. Actually at this moment enjoying a night in your fair city, passing through to Mt. Rushmore on my own 08' as well.

Hey Jeffs,

..realize you're new here but know you are welcome!

We have an FJR assistance list you might want to add yourself to -

private, no commercials or selling of private info -

..and very nice to have when on the road.

Welcome again, amigo. :)

Missed you at the Cassoday run this weekend. Maybe we can catch it next month. Should be cooler at least! :diablo:
