New Paint job

Had 71 Challenger painted purple. They call it Plum Crazy! Mine had black stripes. Looks great! Enjoy!

My my initial reaction is not good, but I'll withhold judgment until I get to see it put back together.

Edit: I do suppose with the right amount of Chrome to go with that, it might be purty.

My most recent Connie was purple(1999), but not THAT purple. I called mine 'Deep Purple' and hummed "Highway Star" when I rode it. My kids called it 'eggplant' and Barney and probably other derogatory terms.

Also ,,,had a Purple '99' Concours ,,, never really cared for the color ,, but it was a Darn Good bike..

Thought it was the best bike I ever had ,,, until the 08 FJR ......

7.5 gal. gas tank ,,, run it hard all day long ,, never let me down,,,,

So, I learned to live with the dark purple ,,,,

Thanks goodness it wasn't Smurf Blue,,,,,,, or Barney Purple...

Back in the 70's , Mopar had some Wild & Crazy colors......

I surely didn't think much of them , then...

But, now those cars and colors are popular and worth big bucks...

Wasn't Prince riding a purple Kawi in "Purple Rain?" He's gonna be hella jealous of your bike, man!

It should be referred to as "the bike formerly known as C-14", and give it a symbol. Then a few years from now you can change it back to C-14.

My Bro in law went for a slightly darker shade of purple for his GT-HO Ford Falcon Phase III. Looked awesome. As such, I can't wait to see the final product - which will definitely make me look twice.

The color itself... I have always wanted a bike in this color - which is pretty damn close to the 2006 FJR color scheme. Coincidence? I think not... if only I had more $$$...
