I just watched an episode. Musta been something different from the one you guys are talking about. I enjoyed it. They took some beginner guy through a track school, the crew took off to ride canyons and all collected performance awards, they went to a bike night. The track instructor emphasized the difference between the track (place to run) and the street (place of many dangers). Sure beat watching a bunch of cages turn left at 185.

I went away with a little higher respect for safety, and a little more envy for the guys who can stunt. Let's face it, when we get together, some laws are sacrificed in the interest of excitement, at least on every group ride I've been on. And when I ride alone, well, what happens with no witnesses doesn't actually happen :gaywinkysmiley: There's a little hooligan in most of us.

Same show. The 2nd episode was NOTHING like the first episode. Will have to see how it goes. Still miss Greg's Garage.

+1 I agree, the last episode was much better then the first, as there was no stunting on the street. Yes, the canyon crew got a ticket for there efforts, but who among us has not gotten or deserved one of those. As long as they keep it on the track and off the street I don't see a problem with the show. Of course this was after I let Speed Channel know what I thought of their first episode.

Saw both episodes. The second was better than the first. Still lots of room for improvement.

The second aired show was almost a complete reversal of the first. Maybe they got a lot of negative comments and aired a more tame show for number two. Maybe they were planning #2, as #2, all the time; I don't know. I guess, wait and see, is in order. It is still a lot to be desired as opposed to Gregg's Garage.

#2 should have been #1 and #1 should have ended up on the cutting room floor.

Then again, you never know...this could have been marketing genius. You know...that whole 'no press is bad press' comment? It got A LOT of people talking about the show.
