literally picked it up a week ago, first and only time it will be in a trailer lol, Can’t wait for spring
I think you will love the FJR. I have put around 400,000 km on two Gen II FJRs in the past dozen years or so. I rode cruisers and large touring bikes before that and there is simply no comparison. I have recently ventured into dual sport for the "roads less traveled" but have no intention of giving up the FJR.

for the single long distance rider the FJR ticks all the box's. I did a great deal of research befor I bought it and it was the best purchase I ever made. I got married a few years later and going on rides was a requirment. We have enjoyed many adventures together but have reached a point that she can no longer get on and off. Still the best bike I have ever owned.

My story, too. Looked for 2 years. Then found the right one. 23k miles later, planning next summer's trips. Fun to ride. Dependable 2000 miles from home.

Hey Cruzen. Welcome from your neighbor down South and west, Washington State. Went through a similar experience. Had Harleys, and BMW GT's. Significant other has left. Just purchased a 2022 FJR myself a few months ago. My third. I love the FJR ! Just waiting for Spring. Enjoy.

What a beauty. Congrats on your new ride!

Nice to have you here. Welcome, and enjoy!

Have to admit the gold wheels do kick *** on black ones. This is what I did back in the day. Please keep in mind that my comment is more about winter FJR entertainment anyway.
If you look at your rims you will see two finishes under the paint. This is the transition point. I sanded and polished the aluminium 1st. Final paper grit 2000. Followed with Mothers Aluminum Polish. That paint was straight up spray paint but it held up great for the several years I rolled that one.
