Cassette deck?

I have no idea what it might be, but I also didn't see any wires to/from it. Are you sure it's connected?

Isn't it a Starcom analogue intercom? Look on the other side... Dials are for setting the levels on the difference inputs and outputs. Not worth buying all the special cables.

Yes, your right it is an intercom. So your saying I shouldnt bother buying all the other gear, too costly ? Previous owner has this box in the bike.

if you can find starcom cables and headsets, I would weigh the cost difference between that and a Sena bluetooth system.. Many here have had the wired and have upgraded to bluetooth.

It is a wired intercom. They were great in their day but so were cassettes. Just go Bluetooth

I have a complete unit at home. If you are I interested I could take a look at what I have.

I was wondering about that stuff. If you have 2 or more BT items, are you stuck with pairing only 1 at a time to your phone? Example: My phone to my audio out and my V1 BT LE interface in.

IF you don't want that Starcomm.... I still run a (failing) one on a 2006.

..just tried bluetoothing a Zumo550 to Sena20S.. Audio is horrible.

So I'll continue to run the old school set up..

Let me know?

Don

Does the 550 support A2DP/stereo music? I thought it was just HFP. If that's the case, that's probably why it sounds horrible.

Hey Don,
I'm not at home right now, but I found a thread that goes through pairing your phone, the sena 20s, and the zumo550. It's. a bit of a PITA to get it right, but when you do, everything works and sounds great. I'll try to find it tomorrow when I'm home.

Pete

Yes, it does.

I did not have the page bookmarked, but here are are some links re: pairing the 595 and a phone I'll try to find the specific page before the end of the day. What type of phone do you have, or are you not pairing a phone too?

https://www.google.com/search?num=50&source=hp&q="sena+20s"+"zumo+550"+phone+pairing

You need something like this for the Zumo 550. https://www.amazon.com/Fortune-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Chargeable/dp/B073G56W7F/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 The 550 doesn't have the stereo bluetooth chip so the audio is terrible.
