Yes, your right it is an intercom. So your saying I shouldnt bother buying all the other gear, too costly ? Previous owner has this box in the bike.
I was wondering about that stuff. If you have 2 or more BT items, are you stuck with pairing only 1 at a time to your phone? Example: My phone to my audio out and my V1 BT LE interface in.if you can find starcom cables and headsets, I would weigh the cost difference between that and a Sena bluetooth system.. Many here have had the wired and have upgraded to bluetooth.
Hey Don,IF you don't want that Starcomm.... I still run a (failing) one on a 2006.
..just tried bluetoothing a Zumo550 to Sena20S.. Audio is horrible.
So I'll continue to run the old school set up..
Let me know?
Don
Yes, it does.Does the 550 support A2DP/stereo music? I thought it was just HFP. If that's the case, that's probably why it sounds horrible.
Don - I have a StarCom Advance at home sitting in a box.IF you don't want that Starcomm.... I still run a (failing) one on a 2006.

You need something like this for the Zumo 550. https://www.amazon.com/Fortune-Bluetooth-Transmitter-Receiver-Chargeable/dp/B073G56W7F/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 The 550 doesn't have the stereo bluetooth chip so the audio is terrible.Does the 550 support A2DP/stereo music?
