I am the only FJR owner in my family but my dad bought an 06 Victory Vegas Jackpot. He has put a few dollars worth of upgrades into it and I gotta tell ya ........ I would buy one. I don't buy in to the whole HD fantasy world, but I wouldn't mind a cruiser in my stable just for a change of rides now and then. And my first choice would be the Victory. I'll agree that the styling is a bit futuristic looking, but people will get used to it quick enough. I'm with some others here, I say "congrats" to Victory and good for them. For only being in the bike biz for 9 years, they have done some good stuff, the Freedom V-Twin motor is a good running plant and the styling has an appeal to it.

I still say this thing is cool. Hats off for something a little different. I want one.

Say what you will, these guys have guts. I can't wait to see one on the road, that's where it really matters. It's pretty art-deco in styling, and I like it because it's fresh. I'm really tired of all the FLH knock-offs, and this one will NOT be mistaken for a Milwaukee product. At least they're looking ahead, and not dredging up the past. And a big honkin V-Twin makes a great relaxed touring engine.
I recall a lot of hoopla about the Victory -KTM merger, and then saw a small blurb about that being short lived. What happened there?

Remember the thread on the Moto Guzzi Norge? Saw one in the flesh at Ned's a couple of weeks ago, and the thing is beautifully finished, and will be a great bike for those who buy them. I'll wave...

NED'S What a place. Jimmy is a good ****, and Hud (ron) got new teeth compliments of us taxpayers .LOL

I was at the unvailing at the NY IMS show. I'm probably on the video! The bikes are huge, somewhat obtrusive. Richard and kyle Petty where there to promote.

You'd think I'd have pixs of the darn bikes! My card took a dump after these pixs!

Saw it at the show and sat on it last nite. It's big as a Wing, looks even bigger. They basically left a giant hole right in the middle up front to let the air come through to cool the big twin. Lots of people standing around to look at it. They either loved it or hated it. Sounds like the designers did their job.

You know what they say...."one persons nightmare....is another persons dream"......or "there's no accounting for taste" .....
