Taking my 2006 in for 600 mile service tomorrow to a trustworthy dealer.
I want to take care of as much of the jumpy throttle as I can before I take it on a trip to Deals Gap next weekend. I don't have the time or tools to do the TBS myself, so I'm considering letting the dealer do it tomorrow.
From what I've read on here about this, is this about all that can be done to help?
Throttle bodies synced
Slack out of throttle cable
Barbarian jumper
Take out one Throttle Return Spring
I can get the slack out of the cable and do the barbarian jumper later next week, not sure about taking out a throttle return spring, do you think a dealer would do this, or give me some liability bs answer about it?
thanks for the replies
