I got taken out yesterday around 1600. As far as motorcycle wrecks go, it wasn't bad. I will admit, it hurts like hell though. Pain pills aren't really touching this crap.
Going around a mall loop at Collin Creek in Plano, two lanes each direction, stops signs at each mall entrance. Me and an SUV cleared the interesection of incomming traffic and proceeded to pull away from the stop sign. She was in the LH lane, a straight only lane mind you, I was in the RH lane, with the option of straight or turn right. I needed to go straight. We both pull away, will me slightly behind watching her. We get halfway across the area where she could turn and looked to be going straight, so I started to pull away. Bam, last minute, she managed to turn into me, and quickly.
I went straight ahead, bike took a 90 degree turn to the right. It went further away than I did. On the way off the bike, I hit her vehicle with my left hip, skipped across her hood and landed in the middle of the intersection. I jumped up getting instantly pissed because I couldn't believe that just happened and started wondering if it was going to impact my trip to SFO. I got about a third of the way to the bike when the adrenaline seemed to wear off and down I went.
Lovely day, bike is still at the scene, gotta figure out how to get it over to Stadium for check out. It doesn't look bad, lots of plastic messed up, but have no idea if the front wheel hit anything. I hurt like a mother_______.
Now, where do I get the crash club badge.
