New enhanced throttle action with reduced spring return force.

New larger windscreen for improved rider comfort.

New improved clutch operation for reduced rider fatigue.

New redesigned sidestand which emits a soft squeak when deployed in the full forward/latched position.

New liquid silicone-filled seat which automatically conforms to the rider's contours.

More to come ...

Next week's 2007 FJR info will include a discussion of the only change... paint and/or "bold new graphics". :glare:

I think they might tinker with the throttle again. It would be inexpensive to implement and easy to do and it's something they can highlight in the upgrades list. An upgraded windscreen is always welcomed.

Maybe a revised sidestand is not too far-fetched, particularly one that could be retrofitted by the population of addled owners.

100K mile spark plugs and coolant would be icing on the cake.

Maybe in the U.S. Dale....in Canada handwarmers become standard equipment.....wasn't this talked about on another thread about the FJR awhile back?.... .....

You got me...

However, I thought heated grips were already standard on the AE model... no?

Let's hope they don't repeat what is already stated on their web site now regarding this "improvement"....

Here's a quote from the "New for 2006" section of the 2006 FJR1300 features page:

Revised throttle cable pulley gives lighter-action throttle pull.
Who knows, maybe if they hadn't installed the throttle pulley backwards, it would have been a lighter-pull throttle...
