Bad starter, crankcase drained of 2 gallons of gas oil mix, 2 floats hung open, crusty seat, AND it's a Mold Wing..

I'm fukin doomed.

Oh boy..... change the oil before too long. Old oil may have acids that attack the stator windings, common problem with them. To fix that is major, engine removal, etc..... most of them just put a Toyota alternator on with a v-belt drive on the front engine pulley.....

Is that an '84 model? How many miles? I love that Wineberry Red color. That was the first streetbike we ever had. Dad bought an '84 model a couple months before my 15th birthday. We rode it to the DMV and took our driving tests together. I still miss it. In fact I have the GoldWing brochure from 1984 sitting in the magazine rack next to me right now.

Good luck bringing her back to life.

I know Ray.. Time will tell as I'm not sure how long she soaked. Voltage output looks good but you know how that goes..

It's an 85 Redfish.. Haven't had her on the road yet, Tomorrow maybe.

Having never owned a yatch I must admit the lazy boy comfort is addictive.Even if I only sampled it stationary.

Oh and thnx Az.. I do try

Sorry.

How many bikes contributed panels to that, anyway?

Looks like a twin to my '86 that was destroyed by a forest rat two years ago on Skyline Drive. I really loved that bike; wish I still had it. I still have some spares kicking around here if you're looking for parts. I cut out the connections for the regulator, stator, and main fuse, soldered the wires and insulated with heat shrink tubing to prevent stator problems. Hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours as I did mine.

Seen at Moonshine Lunch Run.

Don't have a count on how many, but every panel is a different factory fresh panel.

I guess after the FJR is farkled up there isn't much to do to it anymore, being winter and all and needing stuff to work on...
