Well get to stay home and ride out what may be a hurricane at any moment. Eduardo has his sights set on Southeast TX. Looks to be no more than a BIG Thunderstorm at this time. We had a storm pass through here Sunday that had wind gust of up to 72 mph and heavy rain. This one will just last longer. Been here, done these. Worry more about their spawn (tornadoes) than the storm itself. If any other members from this area are out there be Careful and good luck.

aw man, you gonna let a little thing like a hurricane stop ya from riding????

grow ya a pair

all kidding aside, be careful and stay safe

So far this one seems just a little more than a fart. Thunderstorm Sunday was worse as far as wind speed goes. Here in Nederland, Tx, no terrible winds and rain so far. Hell may be able to ride this afternoon after all. So far, so good. I wasted my early morning(3 a.m.) shutting down our chemical lab thinking we were heading for some sustained winds and heavy rains. Winds are blowing, but the rain has been light and sporadic. Fixin to go back to work and start everything back up.

Ok I have been through this same thing. You need to make sure you have supplies. During Katrina that was a big problem.

1- Food.

2- Beer.

3- Radio.

4- Beer.

5- Porn.

6- Beer.

Now I really think this is important. On the Beer, make sure it is sealed up good so the flooing doesn't ruin it. Also bags Potato Chips are way better than Pringles.

Good luck and don't come out till your out of supplies.

Well this storm didn't stick around long enough to drink a 6-pack. We lost power here for about 10 seconds. There were others in the area(approx. 16,000) that did lose power for a short period of time. No major damage in this area, thankfully. After Rita, this place was a total wreck for about 3 weeks before we could even come home. No more of that type for a long time I hope. There are houses in Beaumont and Port Arthur that are still abandoned and are due for a wrecking ball and bulldozers. Some residents just evacuated and never returned. Can't begin to imagine what the people in New Orleans went through.

Had the same problem here in Creston, CA.

A cloud went overhead, the people were freaking.

Stores were be pillaged of rubber boots, flash lights and generators.

Thankfully, the cloud went by with no rain fall, and the huddled masses were safe.

Well minuteman(i.e. Rob) if there wasn't time for beer how in the hell are we going to have Hurricane sex. Besides that, the damn thing was just a fart of a tropical storm. Never reached Hurricane status.
