Fairlaner,

Please share the route you chose from So. Cal to Mill Valley and from Mill Valley to Red Bluff. This thread is very interesting for all of us who dream of such a ride.

Thank you,

G

Bastages!!! Looks like it's gonna be nice and I can't make it!!!! My favorite ride as Steve has layed it out -- same route last year and it was GREAT!

Have fun and be safe. Don't drink too much at the Eel River Brewery. Damn, I love that place!

What time will u guys be at dennys in the morning?
R
The group I'm riding with will probably be there 1100-1130.

You've got plenty of time to dry out and explore some back roads. :D

Uhm....has anyone told you we may encounter showers heading to Fortuna Saturday afternoon?

And in the evening?

Sunday morning should be clear but "brisk", especially chilly for you SoCal types.

Well (and it felt like we were riding in one) we left home at 5.20 and had 300 miles of rain.....I got ******* soaked. We awoke this morning in Mill valley to u guessed it more ******* rain.......
Just what kind of weather do you think the rest of the state's citizens endure so the L.A. basin can import water? :dribble:

0435 Hrs. Fog here in La Grange, vis about 1/4 mile. Hope to break out soon, gonna be a long day and don't need to be stopping to wipe the windscreen and face shield off every few miles. See MM2 at Elk Grove and y'all at Denny's for lunch.

Hmmmm, foggy here, as well. Probably the residual fo the pasing storm. Hopefully this will burn off by 1000 or so. I'd bet it was a chilly ride up the valley for CAJW!

Heading for the bike. :yahoo:
