Thniking about riding on New Years weekend and meeting for Brunch somewhere. Maybe Jackson Rancheria, they have nice covered parking for motorcycles. Open for suggestions and if someone has a good route for after food.

My thoughts are a shared destination for eating and visiting. Then it becomes a decide and ride. That means your on your own after food.

What day will bring the most people out of the house. I would like to start the year with good friends and good food.

Post up and give your opinion, yes even Old Michael is welcome, hope to see you all soon.

I believe we could come up with at least one route to ride. And a New Year's day ride is something of a tradition here in NorCal. Jackson Rancheria sounds like a good eating spot -- never been before.

You sure you wanna tell OM, though? He brings that camera and next thing you know, your head is showing up all over the internet on all manner of bodies, or even hanging from trees.

I have been thinking the same thing for a few days.

I haven't checked the weather forecast that far out and that would certainly be a factor.

I had planned to email everyone on my list but Mike seems to have solved that.

SInce my plans for New Years Eve have are non-existent (I haven't been invited to Barb's party, so I'll be home.)....New Years Day works for me!

And I've never been to the Jackson Rancheria. Plus, there are miles and miles of great roads around that area. In fact, we could invade Brad and Christy's.

Depending on the fog line, we could go uphill or downhill, North or South, from there.

Okay, you've twisted my arm, I'm in! :yahoo:

I checked the Jackson Rancheria website and the buffet is good. We ate there with Rogdeb and enjoyed the food.

Only $6 for breakfast buffet until 10:30am. Lunch buffet starts at 11:00am for $10.

Hope the weather is good.

Man, if I hadn't already committed to riding with the So Cal FJR Crew on Monday, 12/27: I would have been all over this. At least you Nor Cal guys are straight! Sort of!!

Yeah, well . . .

Truth be told, riding past sheep ranches is what causes all the trouble. Jeeze -- we have a road by that name in the area we're talking about riding this upcoming Jan. 1, and I expect that a number of us will be making excuses for "unplanned stops" in that section.

Pretty weird that Bust has seemingly made that sort of thing acceptable for others, huh?

It's been a while since we had a NorCal ride around here, Hike.
...versus? A NorCal ride in Michigan?

Mike, you bring out the smartass in everyone.

And yet Don, you've made your choice. :D

We.....understand.

Rich.

"Others" being?

Hope to be able to join y'all.

Oh for Petey's sake Mikey, stop beating around the damn bush; say it Loud and Say it Proud: SENIOR CITIZENS DISCOUNT!

Since I've been officially sidelined here, I'm watching this thread for time and place for KSU :D

Rich - bum a seat with you if you don't get a better offer ? ;)

Can't make it :( Deb's already promised Teri she'll be riding with her on NYD :)

Lunch buffet might be better if we need to let any of the roads dry out (ice, crap, rain ?), otherwise, a breakfast meet at say ....... 0930 .. ish would have us leaving for the Rancheria at 0800 .. ish .... depending on who has to travel from where.

Yeah ..... Ahh izz a wuss

So, I'm confused -- are you in or out, Rog? Or more importantly, is Deb gonna be there as the better half representative of the household?
