Jus' sayin'.

Sorry to hijack the thread back to its original subject, but it looks like this won't work out for me after all.

Have a great time, all.
Sorry to hear that, Hans. Woulda been good to see you, old man.

Mark me down as a wanna bee, too. I will be in the mountains of Colorado enjoying the sub-freezing, and perhaps sub-zero, temperatures and thinking, now and then, of a garage full of FJRs

Thunder Valley lunch is $21.00 and the lines tend to be a half hour. Hope this helps in any decision making .... by OM ... cause he is the organizer of this day .. right?

Reading comprehension.....DOH!

Since OM hasn't replied I suppose it falls on me to tidy things up.

1/2 hour isn't that bad. I think we waited that long at Jackson Rancheria.

What do you all think (I know that's a dangerous open-ended question)? THUNDER VALLEY?

Input...I need input!
just a thought if your still looking for input. Be happy to check on the wait if folks are interested.... Cache Creek has a $13 lunch and dinner buffet, and its out of the flat valley. Lunch starts at 10:30 on Tuesday.

directions

From the Bay Area:

Take Interstate 80 East to Interstate 505 North. Go approximately 20 miles, exit on Highway 16/Esparto, turn left at the light. Follow Highway 16 through Esparto, Capay and on to Cache Creek Casino Resort.

From Sacramento:

Take Interstate 5 North through Woodland to the Esparto/Highway 16 exit. Turn left, then travel three miles to second stoplight. Turn right onto Highway 16, follow through the towns of Esparto and Capay and on to Cache Creek Casino Resort

Opening post is edited.
We will lunch at Thunder Valley in Rocklin

10:30 Meet Point, should the weather be acceptable for ridint is open for suggestions.

So help me out, I'm old and confused. Is the meet / eat time at the Cassino 10:30 or is that when you meet in Sac.

Most important- what tme are we eating?

LUNCH: 1130 as per original post (you have checked, right?)

MEET:
1030
Starbucks
4701 Madison Ave @ Date

Sacramento, CA 95841

I-80 East, exit Madison Ave. Turn right at the light. Right turn lane is 3 lanes wide...be in the left lane. Take Madison 1/10 mile to signal at Date. Starbucks is across Date from the Ford dealer (IOW, turn left on Date).

Anyone going to lunch tomorrow who could swing by and make sure that Starbucks is open?
I'm pretty sure, being across Date from the Ford dealer it's a hot-spot...

Bugnatr and Led Zepplin..

'I've been dazed and confused for sooo long'....

Boy Howdy, story of my life.

Ok I have it figured out now. Better clear out the parking lot, the Hippo needs room.
It's not just you, Doug.

1.) The plans were not finalized and things were up-in-the-air regarding the destination.

2.) In my current mental state my thought processes are not exactly clear.

All should be clearly explained in the opening post....at least "clear as mud"!

Stopped by yesterday, and went inside to ask. the slightly confused young thing's response was "I haven't heard we wouldn't be open on New Years Day"- so not sure how useful that is!!

Thanks, Dan. I'm sure they will be open. Every time we've used Starbucks as a meet point they've been open on New Years Day.

I was more concerned that the location might no longer be in business as so many Starbucks have closed or consolidated. Now both questions are answered.
