Insurance check came in. Rather than buy another stock pipe, I thought I'd get some aftermarket slip ons. I don't want to spend more than $800-$900 either.
Pic of bike for reference:

Nice pipes!....go with the 2Brothers Titanium....gonna put some on my 08'AE......tell me what you think if you get them!

Or you might have gotten a note like this one I once read about. Guy comes out, sees his fender or something all bashed in and this note on his windshield: "Sorry I just hit your car. The people watching me think I'm leaving you my name and insurance info, but I'm not."
Sounds like I might have written about that. I was the watcher above, just happened to be getting something from my car well within core work hours and saw a suit back into another employees car at work. From the special look of irritation on his face I just knew he wasn't going to stop. Then he saw me a few cars down and grudgingly got out of his car. As he approached the windshield an evil little smile played at the corners of his mouth and I said ok..

Got my own note pad out, wrote down the color ,year and make and and license. Waited the 30 seconds it took him to leave his note and drive off. I went over and read the note, it said exactly as Sacramento Mike described but was also signed with a flourish "HA-HA". ************. Back to my car for my pen and I added my name and work contact info ,offering to witness if he needed it . Dropped my note onto the drivers seat through the barely open slit of the drivers window.

I hate people like that. Never was contacted but figured at least the injured party had the final HA-HA if they wanted it. :D

Background info:
So Monday night I spent the night at the gf's house and parked my bike on the street. There was a car on my right and no other cars to the left (red curb). I left a lot of room for the car on my right just in case he wanted to get out. I went inside approx at 10pm and went to bed around midnight. I had to leave early the next day because I had work in the morning and I wanted to go home and take a shower first before I went to work.

Sorry about your bike, sounds like insurance will cover you pretty well. You might think about some aftermarket cans and maybe that will cover the deductible as most are cheaper than factory.

Hopefully you got a little from the gf for all your troubles.......
