You haven't heard of Machine Head?! These guys are to this decade what Metallica was in the 80's/early 90's.... their latest album, "The Blackening" released last March, is simply beyond awesome. It even got a Grammy nomination for "Best Metal Performance". These guys kick serious ***!

Sounds like a killer tour, but I doubt I'll be able to attend any.... I got some miles to pile up this summer.

Think I'll stick w/my Roy Orbison.............ya'll enjoy your Mastodon, tell'm I said hi

Well, it was just too easy. We like a little bit of a challenge.

Not much of a challenge, mind you.

Toe jam. Go call donald

Disturbed, Slipknot, Machine Head. :smokin: :red_bandana: :punk: :punk: DTE august 6th. I'm in. I miss Metallica :(

I miss Metallica :(
God, how I miss Metallica...... :(

The one and only concert I was able to see them, they still had their long hair, and still kicked serious, serious ***....

It was 1994, the Seattle Center. Alice-in-Chains was supposed to open for them, but it was yet another episode of Layne Staley OD-ing on heroin, and couldn't perform. So CandleBox opened for them. They were good, but... I was really looking forward to Alice in Chains.

When Metallica hit the stage, I forgot all about it, though.... they were beyond awesome.

Then the next thing I know, they cut off all their hair, and produced two ***-**** albums, "Load" and "Re-Load"....

Been downhill every since..... :(

Here ya go, WC. Mantovani will easily curb your Metallica jones. I just wonder how you looked with big hair...
