For any of you folks who haven't been out to Tech Day in Nowthen, PM me for an address. We have a respectable group of feejer pilots, both new and old, in this area and ya'll are more than welcome to swing by.

Whatever it is you'd like to do, or would like to learn more about, just post it up and one of us will let you know on a scale of 1 to 10 just badly we can screw it up for ya.

OK, so maybe we won't screw it up (badly). But if you want to let's say rebuild your front forks for example, be sure to bring all new bushings/seals/springs/valves/fluids needed to complete the project.

We will have to see how the timing works out but I sure would like to stop in and say hi to everybody. The FJR won't be ready for any maintenance but my old Superbike will need to get into Ducati of Minneapolis to reset the 600 mile service light by then. Not sure if this old fart's body could stand the 3 hours on the 999 but I would be killing two birds with one stone.

It would be great to have you and your Italian beauty to stop by. You know you're gonna make some fine Japanese girls jealous with all us guys ooh'ing and aah'ing the Duc.

OK. I just plugged the date into my calendar. Let's see if I can make it this year!

Lookinhg fforward to it. I vote for brats and burgers too! But to correct someone from earlier, yes you can cook a Papa Murphy's on the grill. https://www.papamurphys.com/pdf/grillInstructions.pdf

Keep us up to date. And yeah, I need those directions toget there, too.

mr.paul

Directions on it's way mr.paul. It'll be great have you drop in.

So if one were to grill a Papa Murphys, are you obligated to put BBQ sauce on it? Hmmmm?

WORD OF CAUTION folks! For those of you who will be coming to tech day, when you turn onto my road, be very wary of the sand. Even though I live on a rather UNbusy street, the county deems it necessary to convert my street into a sandbox every winter. Pay particular attention to the last curve.

I would hate to think the first items to attend to on tech day is duct taping a bunch of busted up plastic together.

C'yall in a couple of weeks.

Mike, Just a note of thanks for visiting w/ me @ Dulanos.

I won't make the tech day after all...Dad's flying to DC on an Honor Flight- and I get to watch my mom (w/ alzheimers). (and NO, I won't bring her )

I enjoyed chatting it up with you Roger last night.

An Honor Flight eh? That's a pretty big deal, and pretty cool thing they do for those vets. We'll get together for another tech day another year, Moms do tend to take precedance, and rightfully so. C'ya at the next 1st Thursday R.

I hope you got heat in that garage of yours. At least it looks like no rain or snow in the forecast for Saturday...finally.

Keep your fingers crossed.

Well we still have two weeks for the Florida like weather to move in. I'm an optimist.

But just in case, the heat will be on and up, Up, UP.

Yeah I'm getting ahead of myself, I was thinking it was this weekend.

Having another week to clear out this crappy weather is a good thing.

See you soon.

Just ordered the Race Tech gold valve kit. Should be here in time for Tech Day. I figured someone had better have something to work on that day.

If there were a silver lining in this perpetual winter cloud that just doesn't seem to want to go away....it is this.....Tech Day should be wood tick free this year!

I'll be crushing a bunch of alum. cans before Saturday. The gravel drive may not be the firmest yet, so you'll have plenty of cans for the kickstands. If the weather continues to be crappy, there's plenty of room in the shed where we'll be working.

Just ordered the Race Tech gold valve kit.
Is that for the front forks or a rear shock rebuild?

If it's for the front, you should see if Scooby is available to come over....he did a complete Race Tech rebuild awhile back on his (before he sold it).

Here's his write up. He may be able to give you some pointers.

It is for the forks. Would be nice to have some experienced help. I have had my forks apart before a couple years ago when I put in new Race Tech springs, but again that was a couple yrs ago. Ya never know what I coulda forgotten in that time.

I wonder if he's busy next Saturday?
