Nowthen, how about another Tech Day - April 27th

Sorry I missed the Nowthen event today. I really planned to be there, but I had a buyer for my Vstrom 1K this morning that had to take priority. After that, had to go spend time with my Mom who is in the hospital. The strom is now gone, and I am excited to pick up the FJR tomorrow! Hope to catch another event and meet some more local FJ riders!

Was excited to head up to your place this week and then my daughter and I both end up with a fever yesterday and today, so I was all laid up. Anyways - will see ya later this spring/summer!
What did you do to your forks? Mine need some lovin...

Hoping you and your daughter are feeling better Matt. We'll have to plan a ride together as Gramps has suggested. You were missed.

As for my forks, ScoobyV helped me put on Race Tech gold valves. Hoping to notice some great improvements. Unfortunately when I finished the total disassembly of the forks (to install the new bushings) I discovered I had indeed bent the inner tubes from last October. So tonight I just put the old bushings back on and will need to find new tubes now.

The cost of running with the Big Boys eh?

Glad to hear you got the Strom sold 2fjr! Cookie told us what the deal was. Totally understandable.

Do I hear a faint whisper in the wind about a ride in cheeseland soon perhaps?

BTW.... The day couldn't have been on a better weekend. Last weekend we had snow (old news), and today.....I found the first woodtick of the season crawling on my arm.

So......got the Strom sold yesterday....picked up the FJR a couple hours ago and rode home between the raindrops. I'm pretty excited to get out for a nice long getting to know you ride!! I'd throw in a pic, but have not figured that our for this forum yet. FNG and all......
