Hello Blkdragon. I am glad I stopped to say hi to a fellow FJR rider while you were fueling up. I hope your ride went well. Mine did, although it was only 100 miles (just around the block). I had lots of other stuff I needed to do.

Also, I wish to call out to any other FJR riders in the greater Saint Louis area.

Good idea on the group ride. I live down south with some good riding down around Bixby and such, but also love riding up near you guys (was up there today). Fall weekends are a little busy with the kids' sports, but post or PM me anytime you're up for a ride.

i live just across the river. i am a member of stlar as well. we always have rides posted all speeds welcome but the front of the pack does ride at a faster pace but no one is left behind. we are made up of all kinds of age groups and riding styles. i am always down for some riding if i am free.

I am also a member of STLAR. I went on one ride with them. They are a fine group of riders, and they do tend to wick it up a bit. They are very good at arranging meetup points so no one gets left behind and everyone can ride their own ride.

Does anyone have any suggested routes? I often ride down 94 to Hermann or Jeff City.

My favorite routes are mostly down south of I-70 and the further south the better. I actually plug a point in to my GPS and tell it to navigate the shortest distance. Usually find some good roads that way..

Hey guys...I'm in Columbia, Mo. and I ride often around here and Hermann area etc. with a few guys on sport bikes and we have alot of fun, would love to hook up sometime.

I am heading out today. Thinking of going up to Mark Twain Lake. Yesterday, I attempted to ride 94 to Jeff City, but there was a bridge out on 94 at Treloar. I had to detour N to 47 to 70, back to 19 to Hermann. I picked up 94 again then went to 54. Had a really good burger at some pizza joint on the strip at Lake of the Ozarks, then headed back 42 to 28 to 50 to 47 to 94. It was a wonderful 340 mile lunch run.

Anyone want to join me today?

PM me or post and I will check before I leave (at about 10:00).

Ate at Crossroads in Perry on 19. Nice place, good eats and not expensive. Went all the way down 19 to Hermann, and came back 94. Although the signs indicated it wasn't, this time the bridge was open).

Anyone feel like a ride this coming weekend - the 16th or 17th? Suggest Saturday the 17th at QT in Wentzville 1-70 and The Parkway. Kickstands up at 10AM sharp. Heading out towards Herman and lunch there somewhere (Oktoberfest this weekend).. It would look cool having a bunch FJR's rolling through.. Then head out to the SW going over the ferry and back up to the NE hitting the twisty, hilly roads. PM me if interested.

It's a ways off yet, but I wanted to resurrect this thread to check interest on a group ride. I was thinking of meeting up with some other St. Louis area forum members and heading up to the Moonshine Lunch run on April 9. Looks like it's only 3 hours or so away so we could make a day of it. Hit me up a little closer.. I have a cabin cruiser and would love to do a ride and boat outing at either Lake of the Ozarks or Mark Twain. Planning a big party at Mark Twain on the 4th of July weekend.
