Just for no reason, I checked at the El Rey Best Western in Cedar City and they have 35+ rooms. I asked the GM to call me tomorrow to get a group quote. If someone else wants to do the talking, I can refer him to that person. Online booking runs around $75+ Tax. Group rate? I will follow through for information only, no commitments. The other BW in CC is twice as big and may have even more rooms, meaning more time to negotiate.

Treasure Trails is now closed for good. New Construction for Comfort Suites will begin on January 2015. We need to find a different motel. TT recommends Aikens Lodge, but I think there are better...
I've stayed at TT before and they were a great "down home" lodge!
There is another one or two that is "ok" and I will check tomorrow.

This fall when I rode through I was surprised at how big the Hurricane UT area has become. It's sort of a St. George suburb....65 miles from Kanab.... could be an option.

I really hope this does not cause issues for the the people with other reservations. This far out, I can't see having issues canceling at one place and making a new reservation.
