Arrested Development
As you all know Old Michael has accumulated numerous performance awards this year, so he has taken a new tact in trying to be a more law-abiding citizen.
He recently got a flat tire in his work truck and being a law-abiding individual, he pulled to the right hand shoulder and began the process of changing the tire.
He took out 2 cardboard men, unfolded them and stood them at the rear of his truck facing oncoming traffic.
They looked so life like you wouldn't believe it!
The two men wore yellow helmets and were in trench coats exposing their nude bodies to the approaching drivers.
To his surprise, cars start slowing down looking at the lifelike men, which made it safer for him to work at the side of the road.
As one would naturally expect, the traffic started to back up. Everybody was tooting their horns and waving like crazy.
It wasn't long before a CHP officer pulled up behind him.
The officer got out of his car and started walking towards Old Michael. Michael was perplexed and could see that the officer was not a happy camper!
”What's going on here?” the officer asked?
'My truck has a flat tire', Michael said calmly.
'Well, what the hell are those obscene cardboard men with the yellow helmets and trench coats doing here by the road?'
Michael was flabbergasted and couldn’t believe that the officer didn’t know. He then preceded to tell him that they were…..
'Helloooooo, these are my Emergency Flashers.'
