Im finishing with stage 1 of my 88 GSXR1100j, Oil cooled Sport Bike.
So far, Ive installed reworked front suspension (Thanks Race Tech), and a revalved Works Performance rear shock.
The engine hasnt been modified.
I have installed a V&H advancer 5 degree.
A V&H Carb rejet kit, and K&N Pod filters.
It had a V&H exhaust, but you could hear me coming 3 miles away, and thats with a quiet core and repack!
The fix was almost too EZ.
A Yamaha FZ-1 Stainless muffler was fit.
Its quiet and flows very well. Some said it would be too restrictive, with the increased jetting, but the new 1000cc Yamaha FZ-1 works fine!
Braided Stainless brake lines front and rear lines
Next mods will include 17" 3 spoke GSXR wheels adapted (more and better rubber choices) and a 92 GSXR 750 complete front end, with 6 piston Tokio 6 piston front brake calipers.
