just bought a pair of the new pirelli angel st, mounted on the bike out the door, $291.00 @procliber motorsports vancouver washington,lowest price on mounted tires I've ever seen :yahoo:

They broke the sending unit on my tire pressure monitoring system, even after I told them where it was and to watch for it. And they didn't balance it correctly, causing me to pay $100 in Jackson WY on my trip to take care of it.
They'll never see another penny of mine, even though they do have good tire prices. But from now on I purchase via the internet and have Brian at Cycle Gear (just down the street from Pro Caliber) mount for me. YMMV.

have had two sets mounted and balanced on bike, in last 9k,no problems,one set last august and one set last saturday

So explain to me how it is that you were paying more than $290 for mounted tires in the 1960's? Dude, you were getting ripped off. Even I remember when I could get buy a set and get them mounted for well under 200 bucks.
$290 is a good price but certainly not anything worthy of the claim it's the best price you've ever paid for tires.

The last set of tires I bought for a Kawa Concours was $235 via the net from Motorcyclesuperstore, and I thought that was a hellofa deal. I'd a happily paid $60 to have em mounted and balanced. My local dealers wanted $420. Not likely! Hence the DIY. B)
