Options for Installing AVCC?

I found some instructions online regarding the installation of a AVCC on a FJR. I have to admit, I'm not sure I want to tackle something like that. Replacement headlights, horns, rear lights and oil changes are about as far as I go.

Thoughts and options for finding someone/someplace to install a AVCC on my 08' FJR1300A?

I've installed 2; one on my '04, one on my '09. I'm willing to help and I'm less then 400 miles away, garage space available if you want to make the trek.

Hey extrememarine! Thanks very much for the offer. I may have to take you up on it if I want the AVCC compared to the Vista Cruise and Breakaway types of controls.

If you come up to Michigan for the install, I could probably arrange to stop by extrememarine's place to tell you that you're doing it all wrong

Do you have a place to work on your bike? I haven't seen a install first hand, just a few pictures,

but i don't scare very easy (it's NOT my bike we will be working on).

If you have instructions and parts.. we could get together and see if this is something I could help you with.
