Sorry to read about all the hardship you are having to contend with. This is probably old hat for you as you have stated you are in the legal business; Being a fan of people's court for a ling time has taught me that well documented cases seem to fair the best. In this case my suggestion is to take lots of high resolution pictures showing defects (before riding another mile), and create a time line type of log that you can use as a ready reference. You may also try using the media to deflate his ego i.e. go to your local TV station’s “fight back” editor with this. Either way I think it was a great idea on your part and like you said, the bike looks pretty kick from a few feet back!
