Wow, I'm just catching up! I talked to Tony on the phone after he got back from his first attempt and got from that that IF he could get his mirror mounts "fixed" (we talked over possibility of welding cast aluminum vs replacement) and "IF" he could get the additional time off he was going to head out again.

I haven't been keeping up with the forum as much lately, but I had shot him an email to see how things were going and to link a BBG route I was thinking of attempting headed to Denver this yr and got no reply, and now I know!

He is a hell of a rider, that's for sure! Here's for good luck coming home, no incidents, no finding out if a bear she-ites in the woods...

Hey guys

I am tired... Just. Crossed back to US side.

Gonna nap...

BTW 10/10ths looks good I am sitting

at 9080 and my day 9 started at midnight.

Trunk is trashed, but it's duct taped on- so far

Decided to make it 11 days

I know Scoot- I am a whimp

Tony dude It don't matter if ya take an extra day what you're doing is pretty damned impressive. :clapping:

Now about that duct taped trunk? You bedded down with a polar bear didn't ya, a female no doubt, and her hubby got pissed and trashed it eh?

Best wishes and good luck the rest of the way my friend.

Tired?!?! Ya big girl! You've been on a nice relaxing, scenic ride on your FJR. Why are you tired? :D

Better watch yer words Skooty, or Tony might detour to Skootsdale on his way down and duct tape yer ass to the wall...then how will you be able to pick up hookers?

Looks like he has made it home!

- Without going back to Key West?????
What a flippin' night...

Everything was going well, closed out my 10th day at midnight with over 11,000 miles

for the 10 10ths. Jumped off of I-75 to go east on I-10 (Like always) and the ramp was split

for east and west with the eastbound CLOSED. Now I am headed west on I-10. When I finally

got turned around, I jumped back to I-75 southbound to the turnpike. The weather turned

with HUGE gusting winds and pounding rain. Made it home around 5 am.

I wanted to look "Fresh" for my finish photo. Plus I am dumping off the top case and non-

essential items. I'll be headed down to Key West in a little bit. No hurry... :)
