Just installed a PCIII abs and during the course of installation failed to attach all four of the connectors under the tank. ( I suspect experiencing a senior moment). I attempted to fire the engine and observed two error codes and flashing turn signals. After further investigation I discovered my error and then properly attached the four wire leads. However, the flashing lites continue though the engine runs fine. I spoke to my dealer's service mgr and he had no clue except to say that I'd probably depressed the hazzard lite switch accidentally. I said there is no hazzard lite switch on this bike which puzzled him further. I believe the European bikes do have hazzard lites but there is no switch on this bike. However, there is a fuse box with the word "hazzard lite" which just adds to my confusion.

Any words of wisdom? Please step to the microphone. Thanks.

The hazard switch is the one with the yellow triangle. You don't have one??

I remember reading old threads that say improperly grounding the PCIII results in bizarre behavior of the PCIII. Could it be possible that a bad ground is affecting something else (hazards) instead?

Alternatively, the secondary, auxiliary hazard switch ;) , which Yamaha does not clearly mark, is depressed.
