Congratulations again. When's the big day?
That's up to her John, but I think it might be just around the corner...........

Thanks everybody, I am truly blessed to have such great friends and a wonderful woman to travel through life with.

Just a minute. I want to be clear about this. What did she say "yes" to?
Children...lots of them.

Congrats ... It is funny that when you mentioned this the first thing I thought of was a friend of mine who is a real joker ... We woke in the morning on day 2 of a ride and got to the parking lot and someone had adorned his KLR with his own permanent pillion (Blow op doll duct taped to the seat) .. We all laughed our butts off ... Anyways, happy for you and the memory gave me a chuckle ...

So, I guess that I need to update this post just a bit.

On March 17th (St. Patrick's Day) Michelle and I got married. We decided that we did not need a big ceremony and headed down to the JP and made it official (I figured I needed to strike while she was still recovering from the long plane ride to the Cook Islands), we had an amazing honeymoon in Napa that weekend. The following weekend, I flew to Tucson and picked up my oldest (11 years old) granddaughter and brought her back to Redding to live with us while her mother gets her life on track. The transition has been a little overwhelming and has me mostly lurking here these days. We are not sure how long she will be with us, 6 months or the next 6 grades of school. She is an amazing kid and a joy to add to our family, but is it a bit surreal to be going to functions in elementary school again! Michelle has been absolutely amazing about this ( I knew I was lucky to land her) new development. Riding is sadly limited these days (so gorgeous last weekend and wish we could do the wildflower ride) but we managed to keep Yosemite on the calendar.

Kudos to you Greg. Landed an awesome woman and stepped up to the plate for your granddaughter. That, my friend is what a real man is made of. Somehow I knew you were a good **** ;)

Bring her on down this summer for some pool time, we would love to meet her.

Will do my friend! I am toying with bringing her to Reuben Run. Not sure if I want to expose her to this group of mis-fits though

Congrats on the wedding news and good on you and your bride for stepping up for your grandaughter. Kids often get pushed aside when problems show up.

It would be great if she could be at the RR. We may be down for another RDL so we can meet her then.:) :) :)
