This was really a GREAT ride, with a group of good fellows. The weather was perfect, clear, mild, and friendly.

This group is very skilled, experienced, safe, and with the exception of Ric in Sac, very personable. Kidding.

Ric in Sac had the sweetest sounding Feej in the group, with his unbaffled Muzzy system. Plus, he ran

the shit out of it, so everyone heard the music.

Burleigh, you did a great job planning the route, and guiding the bunch of us. The roads were great,

the pace was reasonable, and the company couldn't be beat.

Okay. I'll STFU.

Here are some photographs.

Spring morning, approaching the meeting point.

I'm speechless. NO! That would make me Silent!

Can you make out the group and the FJR's down below? Silent took this photo after climbing

up the cable on the bridge. They fined him.

We'll continue in a sec.

San Francisco, arguably, the prettiest metropolis in the U.S.A. (It IS really a beautiful city, if you ever get the chance.)

Really, a fine day. Forum brothers, if you ever get out here, HYCLE will personally show you

the sights, prepare you a fresh seafood dinner, and sync your throttle bodies.

That's all I got.

Dang, I wish I was there. Great pics by you Mike and the others, except uh, Silent with that hair in his lense. I was suppose to have some work done on the old HD today but the guy wimped out at the last minute and I got stuck working around the house and had to deal with a psycho neighbor and police but that's a whole other story. Also my truck broke down and I think I have the beginings of an absessed tooth. When it rains it pours. Believe me I would have rather been out riding.

Our CMA chapter is making a similar run though this next Saturday so I hope to get to see some of the sights you guys saw. And it is so beautiful around the bay and coast this time of year. And the wall is really a cool sight to behold at night as well with all the city lights below if you ever have the chance. I'm looking forward to the next FJR ride which is the way more fun and better bikes to ride with as we already know. Take care until then, PM. <>< :D

Great pics. Sounds like a great ride.

Your pictures bring back memories as I went to school at "Berserkley" a long, long time ago.

Thanx for sharing.

Thanks for posting your photos, Michael, and for coming down for the ride yesterday. It was great riding with you again. Now it's my turn to head up north. Hans

So I just need to take them to Broadway street and a visit to the Castro in San Francisco.

They can enjoy a peep show, crabs, and.....well, nevermind.

Great pictures. Beautiful scenery. Makes me jealous. Had to work all weekend. It is nice on the east coast also. Lots of blooming trees and flowers. Maybe next weekend.

Thanks Michael for the great company and great photos. It was a very nice relaxing day with great company. Pretty soon we will be riding to SF just for the refreshing 65 degree temps in the middle of summer.

Nice Pics!

We're heading out that way in July. If you guys are around, we'll PM you and see if we can meet for a ride. We're thinking SF area around July 15th and 16th.

Will it be on a roundabout route to NAFO? Either way, it shouldn't be hard to rustle up a guide and some troublemakers to show you the area roads.

The coast is always nice and bearable even in July, but keep in mind the Sacto Valley will be an oven.

Thanks for sharing! What wonderful scenery, weather, and roads. Looks like good companionship too. We suffered through storms all weekend in NC, but maybe this weekend will offer some of what you all experienced.

We will not be there for NAFO unfortunately. We're heading west from NY on July 4th and by the time we get to San Fran., it will be towards the end of our two week stint.

We'll see (like you said) if we can rustle some of you folks up.....

Dangit! I had to miss this ride as work was overwhelming. I am sad to see the pics, but glad to see the happy faces. I am glad that you all had a great time and I hope that I can make this ride soon. Take care all!

I believe you are the fellows I met at 'The Wall'. I was on the 03 silver FJR leading a big group of Harley riders as well as my daughter on the V-Strom 1000. I'll tag up with you for a ride soon. We had a great ride down to Alice's. My daughter and I continued to Santa Cruz for the night and came back via the Golden Gate to Wooden Vly Rd to 121 to 128 then home to Sacramento. The fall ride sounds great. I look forward to hooking up. I'm doing a big off-road ride at Stonyford May 15/18 so I won't be able to make that one.

Dan

Awesome pics. Looks like a fine day for a ride through some nice scenery. Looks like perfect riding weather. I am truly jealous.

I have a question for Silent J B, though... Where's your mustache, man?

I mean... everyone's doing it man. Just check through the pictures.

Don't you want to be part of the "in" FJR crowd?
