Installed mine today, on my gen2. Swapped the new horns for the stock horns. A longer shaft Allen wrench is next on my shopping list. I had to do 1/8 turns because of clearance. Tupperware removal would make it easier as well.

I no longer sound like the roadrunner. Meep meep. Now it's more like the big sedan coming out of the tunnel to flatten the coyote. HONK HONK.

I have used the magnum blasters on a gen 1 and I believe these are just as loud. They will gather attention in a big way.

Well I finally installed these yesterday and given my media challange I wanted to upload a sound clip but dunno how to so here is a dropbox link to my two second video --> https://www.dropbox.com/s/o0h907mxo17xbbl/2017-06-22%2023.16.21.mp4?dl=0

That is the before...

This is the after --> https://www.dropbox.com/s/a6wf7tlueepnwsl/2017-06-22%2023.35.28.mp4?dl=0

Hey that worked!

FYI I chitcanned the bracket that the original horns were mounted to and used the mount for the horn bracket itself, pretty funny I kept trying to remove the 10mm bolt on the back of it to get the bracket off and after getting fairly frustrated realized it is welded on

this got the horn up higher and tighter, note that they do rub on the inner fairing and I can hear it so I am going to silicone an innertube isolator McGuiver style to cut down the noise.

Mounted one PIAA on the stock horn bracket and the other on a radiator guard screw. No clearance problems from any moving parts, and -- 55,000 miles later -- those mounting points are still looking mighty fine.

(Except for the minor swimming incident that killed the starboard-side horn. Now I ride with the PIAA horn to port and the stock horn to starboard. They work fine together.)
