Joshua Tree N.P., August 2013, on my gone but not forgotten 2013 FJR. I had the whole park to myself for all practical purposes. Great ride, but so very hot about an hour after this picture was taken.
Gotta agree with Redfish, even with the limited amount of riding I was able to do, one is gonna be difficult. I kinda liked this one, though, sunrise over the Pisgah forest, as seen from my room at the Pisgah Inn, mile 408 on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
I think I was more impressed with the VLA, but this was the destination. Ground Zero at the trinity site. I had another trip planned but that one had to be cancelled.
Not a picture , but a screen shot. Mooshead Mike and I took a little ride this spring. 6 weeks and 23000 kilometeres. And at the end of it we are still good friends. Go figure.
4 days of riding New England dirt roads starting in Hancock NH up to the Canadian Border in Derby VT, then back south through Vermont to Massachusetts on the Puppy Dog Route. Here's four of us up on one of the mountain gaps we passed over.
