Pikes peak was awesome with my best friend

Hmm... now where do I recall seeing this scenery before? Ah yes, my trip to Pike's Peak in late June of '13. What a ride it was to the top of that mountain.

However the only best friend I had with me was that goofy hat. I visited Pikes Peak a couple days after they had a huge race there. There were still hay bales on all the corners leading up to the summit. I thoroughly enjoyed the ride to the top. Last time I was there was 1977: no lie.

Just above my shoulder you can see the reflection of the beautiful blue sky in the window behind me. The sun was so bright you could almost taste it.
