This one's not bad, Forest Road 46, about 5 miles from the town of Detroit, OR. Mt. Hood in the background.

It was a nice half day ride with two good friends. Shot taken by Bob McInnis. (my '04 in the shot)

I like this one better though. Also by Bob M. Fantastic shot at speed of me on my '04. This was a great day of riding with Bob. Again, Mt. Hood in the background.

This one doesn't suck. Salmon Glacier road out of Hyder, AK. Took the all gravel and not that smooth road up until we hit snow to see the glacier.

Not that spectacular a pic, but the memories of a good day meeting good people, and the start of a very hot day of riding. This is the view from GZ's place looking South, IIRC.

I choose a couple of pictures of my FJR friends - most of these pictures are courtesy of others. Quite frankly, I'm not a brand specific guy when it comes to making new mcy buddies. However, the friends & buddies I've made from this forum is one of things that makes this FJRForum site so outstanding!

First picture is on Smokehole Road in West Virginia during the STN National meet. The FJRs were well represented there. Pictured(from L to R) are Gerry -kneeling (Busa), Heidi/luvtoride, Julie (VFR), Mike/yamaholic, me, & Leon/AcadianRider (ST1300). Chris/BugR (who I had been travelling with) is not pictured because he was on a separate solo "All-you-can-eat" WV & VA ride.

I believe ejworthen & his wife also took that "All-you-can-eat" ride -2up on a strom I believe!...

Thanks to Chris/BugR and his STN buddy AcadianRider for doing a little pre-STN -WV Ramble riding down in the Smokies.

Then I also had fun down in MO/AR with Smitty and other new buddies...

Had fun up at CFO2006 also with zzzzip (who I met down in MO/AR), blitzer, huron52(who I met at the previous CFO & the WV Ramble), griff, & dennis...so things kind of compound as you meet new friends ...

Anyway you slice it, 2006 was a very good year for riding and meeting new mcy friends
