I bought the bike at Mike Johnson's Power Sports in Russellville, Arkansas, because of the good service a friend and I have gotten there for the last 25 years or so. It's a good shop with very good people -- lots of long-term associates who know their business.
I think I’m gonna enjoy this bike. I only put 150 miles on it, and they were easy miles. I do believe in breaking one in easy. I left the shop, glanced at the instruments a half mile later, and my signal was still flashing. What? I can’t believe the company who invented self-cancelling turn signals in 1977 didn’t put them on this bike ;o) I guess there’s a good technical reason, and it wouldn’t have changed my mind. Just weird.
High for the day, according to the bike, was 42 degrees. The heated grips were nice, but I'll be hooking up the Gerbings before my next winter ride.
The bike is comfortable. It's not as plush and arm-chair comfortable as my Goldwing, but I know now I'll enjoy it a lot more.
I think I'll keep it
