"But soon found the POWER of YAMAHA! Twinjet 100 (not actual bike)"

That was my second Yamaha! Eventually did short track & scrambles with it (Oklahoma).

Edit: Sure was annoying loud with expansion chambers & no silencers . . .

Obviously it's not me in the photo (I don't have a digital image of my own bike) but this looks like the bike I had from 1975-1978. It's a Yamaha FS1-E, known as the Fizzy. The 49cc sport moped was legal to be ridden by a 16yr old yet capable of around 70mph if you really wrung it's neck. I put one heck of a lot of miles on that little bike before graduating to a 'big' Honda CB200 when I was 17.

Oh rrightt! How much (over and above what Rad paid ya) is it gonna cost me to have you retract that statement ?
Okay, joker....I fixed it. All retracted, edited and everything.

Yew wuz rite, thet ol' Dave musta bin messin' wif yuh. Soorrrryyy, butt et wuz purdy gude.

I don't think I have any pictures saved my of 1978 Yamaha XS11, but here's a similar picture - even has the Samsonite luggage system mine had. This was such a great touring bike in so many ways, and would just eat up the miles and miles... :)

Not mine in the picture but this was my first Yamaha; quick little sucker, for sure. Raced it for a couple years. YZ-250:

My '79 XS1100, on a trip with a friend who was riding his '78 Goldwing.
Nice picture there Mike...I never took a picture of my red 1979 XS1100 Special...

...which I used to beat a '78 Suzuki GS1000 in the only organized "drag race" -<cough-closed course of course-cough> I let myself get talked into by some new college soccer buddies.

Couldn't find a picture of my Yamaha RT2MX 360, but here is one of the VW Trike I built my senior year of high shcool. That is my mom on the back and she loved it when I would pull wheelies. Now she rides on the back of the FJR when I take her to lunch.

I don't have any photos of it but my first Yamaha was a new 74 RD350. That little sucker sure could MOVE!

My first Yamaha, 500 twin four stroke. My son, 10 at the time, insisted to put his two wheeler in the pic with mine.
