Did anyone else see these rainbow-colored wispy cloud things up there?

We saw 'em two or three times during the day.

Probably a name for it. Chem-Trails (Aluminum Barium Sulphide )

Thanks OM.

Is there any reason why, even with my glasses on, they're still mostly out of focus?

And what, no pics of Beemerdons.(BTW thanks for the donuts Don)

Michael,

Nice pics, as is customary.

One thing occurred to me in looking at those higher elevation shots: Around here, when the sun is out and there is still snow pack on the sides of the road, the roads are always wet with melt or covered with salt and sand crapola.

I didn't see anything less than completely confidence inspiring on those road surfaces, even with 3-4 foot snow banks.

How dey do dat out dere?
It's a secret! ;)

Beemerdons. A little parental control, please.

You should consider a road trip out here, FredMan.

Actually, I think superior engineering could be at play. I know there are lots of pipe drains going under the roads up there. Also, lots of those portions have just recently been plowed and broomed and cleaned . I don't think they have to salt or sand them because they're closed to all traffic most of the winter. Just guessing on all of this.

Where the hell do y'all sleep?

We don't have sidewalks in the country either...
Sheesh. Might as well be living in friggin' New Brunswick.

Thanks, all.

OM, You're PhotoShop skills are becoming legendary. How you swapped a pic of my worn out tire for one of me with my hair dyed black is uncanny. I'd almost believe it was real, but I don't do Gen II's. Remember, I have feelings, you know. :p
